1860/1872 Wayne Co. PA Maps showing location of Latourette farms

Dear LaTourette Cousins,

I just obtained copies of some old maps of Wayne County PA, one dated 1860 and another 1872. These maps provide locations of farms of the time and amoung them (near Cold Spring) are the farms of S.; B.; L.; N.; G.; and AJ. Latourette. The 1870 census shows the following heads of households as Samuel, Reed (who lives with father John, Nelson, Lorane, George and Jackson (Andrew Jackson) Latourette to give you an idea who these farms belonged to.

The maps can be obtaind through the Wayne County Historical Society and are very inexpensive. I paid about $10.00 for 6 different maps - some on nice paper. Their web site is www.waynehistorypa.org

Hopefully this will be of interest to some who are decendants of Peter who moved to Wayne Co. PA. in the early 1800s?
