Clara Elizabeth and Julie Cornelia Fette were daughters of Anton and Eulalia (Guerette) Fette. Eulalia was the daughter of Pierre "Peter" and Maria Louise (Dufresne) Guerette, who married 22 October 1827. Pierre died 1874 and mentioned his two granddaughters in his will.
Pierre "Peter" (1809-1874) was the son of Pierre Gueret (1780-1839) and Marie Palmer (1789-1840). Pierre and Marie were also the parents of Eliza Pelagie LaBarge (1825-1903).
I am related to this family through the Palmers. I am a descendent of Auguste Aristed Palmer (1802-1843) and Martha Smith, who married in 1829. Marie (1789-1840) and Aristed (1802-1843) were children of William Palmer (d. 1822) and Rhoda "Rosalie" Kincaid (d. 1827).
