I am a decendant of the LaBatte's originally from France. Canadian immigration changed it to "Labatt" several generations ago when my great grandfather came over (probably a name familiar to them already). I have very little info about my geneology - I can only trace it back as far as my great grandfather. Any info would be appreciated! Our "Labatt" family is quite large - of course we're always asked "any relation?" and we can never say definitively "yes" or "no". Please help!
