Hi Corey,

You must have read my great Uncle Henry Labattes' version of the HISTORY OF THE LABATTES. Uncle Henry's account does have some inaccuracies such as Agatha Gendron's maiden name was not McPhearson. I have a copy of the marriage certificate of her and Louis George Labatte II (the couple are my g-g-grandparents). Also, I have a copy of the baptismal register of her and her siblings with their parent names Louis Gendron & Angelique Ajo/Agneau/Aljeo.Anyway I have quite a bit of information on the Labattes of Simcoe County.
Agatha remarried to Augustus Deveau and they had a child named David G (listed in 1871 census of Ontario)and lived in St.Catherines. Funny enough Uncle Henry ended up living in St.Catherines with his family of 5 boys and 2 girls.

Anyway, please email me and we can exchange more information. Cheers for now,

Valerie
