Greetings,
I've found a bit more information on my Louis Labarge (father of Antoine Labarge) per my previous posting. Louis Labarge was born 29 Sep 1818 in Canada and died 7 Feb 1901. He was married to Flay (Flava) Duquette. She was born 29 Sep 1816 and died 15 Feb 1901. They are both buried in St. Enmund's Cemetery, Ellenburg Corners, New York.
Louis & Flava with son Thomas (age 25...born abt 1855) can be found in the 1880 Altona, Clinton, NY census living two houses away from Antoine Labarge (born 1845). There are a number of Labarges living close together. Two more houses down from Louis is a "John Labarge" age 28 (born abt 1852). Joseph Labarge age 35 (born abt 1845). Frederick Labage age 20 (born abt 1860). Edward Labarge age 48 (born abt 1832).
I have read someplace (not a source document) that Flava was likely Louis Labarge's 2nd wife. I believe I read that he married Flava later in life. Of course, I need to document with sources. Still working that angle.
