The Abraham Labar that was in the 5th Battalion, Nothampton PA Militia in 1777 is listed by the DAR as being married to Margaret Gordon. It is interesting that John Lang is Abraham Labar's brother in law. But that does not mean that the Abraham Labar in his company was his brother in law. However, from searching records, I have found that there are at least 2 maybe even 3 Abraham Labars residing in Northamton County, Pa that are of similar age. There is one from Upper Mount Bethel, there is one from Forks,(These two are definatley not the same as they are both listed in the 1790 census. People cannot be in 2 places at the same time) and there is one in Easton, but the one in Easton may be one of the two already listed. Right now, I am trying to be sure that I have the right guy.
