My Great Great Grandmother Mary Ann Norman married Pierre Antoine(Peter Anthony) Labadie in Amador Co. Sacramento,California October 9, 1884. He is descendant of Pierre Descomptes dit Labadie & Marie Angelique Lacelle and 4 Antoines later .
We are in the line related to the Chief Pontiac of Ontario, Canada.
Whose daughter married Antoine Louis Descomptes dit Labadie
a son of his friend Pierre. The Indians called him Badichon.
Pontiac gave them land on their marriage but he died before his first grandson was born. she died after their last child was born .
This 1st Antoine married 3 times.
1st was Angelica(Angelique) Campau (5 children)
2nd was Mannon(Marie) 17 children some possibly died in child birth 9 of them are unknown names.
3rd was Charlotte Barthe a widow 10 children
He was written up as a father of 33 children in a paper of his time.
