Victoire Labadie b. 11 Aug 1799 Assumption Parish Windsor Ont. M. 19 Feb 1821 Joseph Yax son of Jean baptiste Yax and Irene Huyet Champagne.
Her parents Antoine Descombes dit Labadie b. Apr 1771, and Marie francoise Godfroy Balard. Her parents: Stephen Godfroy Balard and Frances Souchereau.
His parents: Antoine Louis Descomps dit Labadie(b. 1732 Montreal) and Marie Sauvagesse (8 children by country marriage). Her father is reputed to be Chief Pontiac and mother a Miami Indian.
His parents Pierre Descomps dit Labadie and Marie Angelique Lascelle. Married in Montreal, moved to Fort Ponchartrain about 1740 with his family.
This is the earliest marriage with Yax that I Know of.
