I have a Matilda Yott who was the second wife of my Great Grandfather Antoine Lanctot, they were from Kent, Ont. I found the name Yott in LDS tapes, from I believe it was Immaculate Conception Church in Paincourt Ont. They lived in New Bedford, Ma. for a time, he died there but I don't know what happened to her as they were according to his death certificate divorced, which surprised me in that day and age. We believe, the name can also be Yack as my Grandmother married her step mother's brother at the death of her husband. From what we found in LDS records, if they were brother and sister, there mother's maiden name could have been Rock or possibly Roch. Please e-mail me if you like.
