Thanks Larry,
I had found the 1850 household of Leander Kivett and wondered if this was this right Lousina/Lucina. I also found a Sina Kivett, age 22, in the 1860 Alamance County household of Parris Benbo, as well as the 1880 listing in James Johnson's household.
The 1840 census for Randolph County has Haley Johnson (indexed at Ancestry.com as Haleg): 1 male under 5, 1 male 40-50, 1 female under 5, 1 female 5-10, 1 female 30-40. Neighbors are Henry, William, and Eli Kivett. Do you see any connection?
Haven't done much research on Johns(t)ons - too overwhelming!
