I attended High School with a Black boy, whose name was "Kivett". He would be about 70+ now. This family lived in Riverside, California.I believe they may still be in that area.

My mother visited his grandmother and learned that they had been slaves on a "Kivett" property in Randolph County, NC.

I am sorry I didn't pay better attention now.
