I am sorry to confuse you. Louisa Kivett, wife of Riley Williams (who are buried at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church) was a daughter of John Gilliam Kivett and wife Rosannah Kivett Kivett. She was the sister of Leander Kivett and not his daughter. But Leander Kivett's first wife was Riley Williams' sister, the daughter of Jacob Williams (1785/90--c. 1850) and Margaret Lax. There is no proof of this, simply family tradition and the fact that the census records confirm the family of Jacob Williams as tradition records it. Jacob left no estate because the State attached and sold his land (which was purchased, by the way, by John Gilliam Kivett.) At the time of his death, he was under prosecution by the state, for what I don't know yet. Jacob was the son of a Back Creek Quaker, William Williams (c. 1750--1811) and wife Mary Williams (d. 1833.) The Williams family originally lived on LIttle River in the south central part of the County.
