I am looking for the names of the children of Elizabeth Kivett and Crabtree York. This is what I know, Crabtree was born 1781 in Randolph, North Carolina and died in Martinsville, Jefferson Township, Morgan County, Indiana. His father was Jeremiah York and mother Sarah Allred. Elizabeth may have a sister named Nancy as she married one of Crabtree brothers, Barnabus. From a 1820 census of North Carolina I think, it says there are 8 children, 2 boys over ten and one girl and 3 girls and 2 boys under 10. That would make the girl the right age for my Martha York that married James Cole. Also there was Kingberrys York, 17 and Semore York, 23 and a wife. Be happy to share anything I have that can help anyone here also. My great grandfather was named York Crabtree Billings and I am going down this path on a reasonalbe guess that Martha's daughter Micca named her son York Crabtree to preserve the family names.
