King William's War Forum

My name is James Austin Heard. I am also researching one of the Army officers who supported William, Duke of Orange in the Orange Rebellion (King William's War). He was stationed in Londonderry. He was Capt Stephen Heard, listed by King James as a traitor in 1689, pardoned same year by then King William. We have never been able to document our ancestor that had to leave Ireland suddenly because of a disagreement with the Catholic church. I have tried to find a source of Military records for this time frame with no success. If I dig up any leads I will post it on this forum.
