Pat, I know the post I'm replying to is over 2 years old, but I'm just now seeing it. Did you find out anything more on Ephraim Curtis? I have that name in my genealogy line up, married to Elizabeth Stiles. I have no further back names and no dates. Their daughter, Elizabeth Curtis married Josiah Wilcox. Ephraim and Elizabeth would be my grx6 grandparents. That would have been the right state (Connecticut) for them. The Wilcox family were some of the founders of Hartford. The name Curtis was used for several generations as son's names. If you have come across any info on him you would not mind sharing, I'd love to know some. I also have another grx5 grandmother in the same generation as Elizabeth(daughter of Ephraim) whose name was Comfort Curtis( don't have her parents names) who married Ephraim Munson. Their daughter Jamima married Josiah and Elizabeth Wilcox's son Eleazer Curtis Wilcox.
