Middlesex Regiment...Isaac Amsden?

Hello. I am looking for information regarding my ancestor, Isaac Amsden (b. 1656 Cambridge, d. 5/3/1727 Marlborough, MA) who fought in King Philip's War.

He is credited with duty under Captain David Henchman in King Philip's War, August 20, 1675. He was paid two pounds, seven shillings.

I am assuming that he was part of the Middlesex Regiment. Can anyone confirm this for me? Any additional information would be most appreciated.
