I am looking for any information on my great grandfather Anton Kayser born in 1826 HesseDarmstadt, Germany and came to US in 1854..married Elizabetha Scheer, also from Hesse Darmstadt, Germany...in 1861 Hardin Co., Ohio. Anton died in 1907 in Hardin Co., Ohio. Would appreciate any information on the Kayser or Scheer families of HesseDarmstadt, Germany or Hardin Co., Ohio. After the death of Elizabetha Scheer Kayser, Anton married Elizabeth Hickory in 1876 and they resided in Hardin Co., Ohio. Elizabeth Hickory was the daughter of John Hickory who was from Hesse Darmstadt, Germany and Catherine Kessler Sines Hickory of Putnam County, Ohio. Any help concerning the Kayser, Scheer, Hickory, Sines or Kessler surnames would be appreciated. Thanks....
