Well, if you believe that this John was Eva Elisabeth's father, and you accept the European church record of Peter's father's death, then E.E. can't be Peter's half sister. She might well be some flavor of cousin. Peter Kichline has been mistakenly claimed as a relative (or, even more commonly, as a direct ancestor) by other family researchers; remember, he was quite prominent and a hero, so it's natural for subsequent generations to want to make that assertion without proof. I descend from Peter's brother Charles, which was a little bit of disappointment for me... Charles was pretty boring compared with his dashing brother. I'm not sure that the Stout family history was well-researched in this particular area.
