I am not related to the Kaas family while doing some research on our family found this small article--" Merchant C.H. Kaas died at his home in Pigeon Falls,Wisconsin --on July 4th of 1900 of blood poisoning.We understand---- the deceased never recovered completely from amputation of his limb at the thigh,a few years ago. " This is from the Arcadia Leader July 1900. Pigeon Falls in in Trempealeau County Wisconsin and its county seat is Whitehall. Hope this will help a Kaas Family Reseacher....Ann
