There is a child, Norma Lee Jacoby, buried in the same plot as my grandparents, Ernest D. & Mary Annie (Dugger) Young in Robstown Cemetery, Robstown, Nueces County, Texas. The gravestone, which my grandmother had placed there sometime before she died in 1971, has the following inscription on it:
Norma Lee
Dau. of
L. D. & E. B. Jacoby
1911 - 1913
I believe the parents are Lee D. Jacoby, born abt. 1881 in Illinois, and his wife, Effie, born abt. 1884 in Iowa, based on the 1920 U.S. Census for Robstown, Nueces Co., Texas.
Other children in the household of Lee D. Jacoby on the 1920 census are Kyle (unsure of the name as the census image is blurred) age 16, born in Iowa, Genevieve, age 14, born in Iowa, Alice, age 10, born in Iowa, & Ora, age 4, born in Texas.
I would be happy to relay the story behind this burial to any kin of the Jacoby family. Contact me by replying to this message. I believe I may have a photo of her gravestone if they are interested.
I don't want the burial place for this baby girl to be lost to her family.
