We have the same James "C" Jacobus in mind but different Spouse although same 3 sons. William B. Jacobus is my GG Grandfather and he served in the 13th regiment in Civil War( I have a lot on that) married Leah Van Houten. His Sons Raymond and Warren. Raymond is my G grandfather.................. I can send you a picture of James Jacobus headstone, shows wife Sarah Bush (as I have in an old Bible. I have all the census papers on his desendents and a different line on Samuel, but...
I could send all that for you.
Samuel--I have Sarah ? as first wife and when she died he remarried Marietta Van Duyne in abt 1868 and had 2(3) sons one of them being Wilburforce and I have all the headstones and census on that. So e-mail me and I will send all that you would like:) I have also the Caldwell map of 1880 showing James Jacobus house and other maps with more names too.....
