I'm looking for possible relatives.
My dad's name is Jack Emil Jacobsen, his dad was Lief, and his dad was Emil... that is about all I know. Except that music runs pretty good in the family, and Emil Jacobsen played violin, until a metal splinter impaired his use of a bow, and he had to switch to the mandolin banjo.
I play guitar myself, and so does my dad. My grandfather, Lief, would play the accordian... though I never got the chance to get to know him.
I think Emil Jacobsen might have come from Oslo, Norway, but I can't remember. I'll have to ask my dad again... I'm still learning and would like to know more if anybody has any information.
