I've just finished with all the research I can find on my Jacobs Family in Rowan Co, NC. I haven't been able to make a connection with any Jacobs Family in Delaware or anywhere else for that matter. They seem to have appeared from nowhere with Abraham Jacobs in the early 1770's. My Abraham seems to have had the following sons:
Christian b. app. 1772 d. 1810-1815
Lewis b. 1774 d. 1858
Abraham b. 1775 d. aft Jun1823
Kendall b. 1779 d. app. 1850
Sorry, but that's all I've been able to take it so far and I'm very discouraged of ever being able to take it any further.
