Hi Connie,

I don't know anything after Jonathan Jacobs migrated to North Carolina. My line remained in Delaware. Interestingly, my ancestor, Curtis Jacobs, brother of Jonathan named a son Stansbury Jacobs. I have not uncovered a Stansbury connection to the family. Jonathan and Curtis were the sons of Kendall Jacobs and Sarah Hays (Haze).

Kendall and Sarah married on the Eastern Shore of Virginia before migrating to Delaware circa 1750. See the will of Richard Haze, Apr 2, 1767, Prob. Mar 8, 1768, Northampton, Virginia. Kendall may be the same person mentioned in the loose papers of the Northampton County, Virginia, court dated December, 1730, which states that Solomon Walter gave security to teach Kendall and John Jacob the trade of carpenter [LOOSE PAPERS AND SUNDRY COURT CASES 1628-1721 Northampton County Virginia, Vol I compiled an abstracted by Jean M. Mihalyka, Published by Hickory House, Eastville, Virginia, 1997].
