Hi there Shawn, I am also descended from George Jacobs, Sr. of Salem Mass. Although I am just beginning my search for genealogy and don't have all the details yet. My father had a book given to him years ago (1992) that covered the family history - but I don't have access to that now. I am in the process of reestabilishing contact with my family (all from Maine) and hope to learn more soon. Please keep in touch, I find this fascinating!
