In the 1810 Richland County, SC census there were 6 Jacob Families listed as Other Free Persons. I do know that the Jacobs Surname is found in Various Tribes in N.C. including the Lumbee, Waccamaw Siouan and Coharie Tribe. Do you have any information on the Richland County, SC Jacobs?
