I know that Dominicus Dionysius Jacobich and his son John Alexander Jacobi arrived in NY from Bremen on ship "Hansa" in 1873. They eventually came to Michigan.

Dominicus' parents were Valentine Jacobi and Justina Daimling from Plock, Poland

Dominicus was an artist dob:9Oct1820 dod:1904
John Alexander (tinsmith) dob:1853-4 dod:Ap 1916-7. Settled in Saginaw, Michigan.

Valentine was a jeweler and probably came to the Detroit area. He may have had a daughter named Molly who repaired watches.
