Edward Kasper Jacobe, immigrant between 1850-1880 married Dorthea Ludiers (immigrant, same) after both had lost their spouses after reaching America; both from Saxony-Prussia. Several children; his, hers, theirs. Have some history, mostly through Lewis Harmon Jacobe married Rosa Alma Jewel Kleinbeck, daughter of Jacob and Mary Jane Fivecoat Kleinbeck.
If this sounds familiar, I have more information. It looks like most were from IA and were devout Lutherans before moving on west to NE, KS, and more.
