Thank you so much Howard. Your information was much, much more than I ever hoped for and supplies the information as to where John's family was during the years he was missing from NH. I'm not surprised that they were in Abbotsford as that is where Catherine Knight Jackman's father, Paul, died and where John Jackman's half-brother Humphrey died. I have access only US records in my Ancestry membership so researching the Knight and Jackman lines in Canada has been difficult. I'm descended from Frederick Beal Jackman. If I can supply you will any info down that line I'd be happy to. Thank you again.
