I am re-examining this family and would very much like to get in touch with anyone who is researching them too.
I trace my family back to Anthony Jackman at present, who married Elizabeth Waters at Thorpe Mandeville, Northants in 1622. I have now concluded that he was previously married and produced earlier children from at least 1586. His first wife is unknown.
His son, Elias was my ancestor but I only know this through wills and have no christening. Elias married an Alice-again I don't know where/when and they settled in Shipton-under-Wychwood, Oxon. Their daughter, another Alice was chr. there in 1642 and went on to marry Philip Box of the Witney Box family.
Part of my trouble is lack of the parishes that I want other than at the RO.
