The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, March 23, 1905

At the home of MR. and MRS. A.J. WOODMAN on Thursday evening, March 9, 1905 at 8:30 p.m. occurred the marriage of their daughter, MISS ABBIE to HERBERT S. BOYD of Des Moines. At the appointed time MISS EMMA JACKLEY of Chicago played the wedding Hymn sang by the MISSES CHARLOTTE BUTTS and HARRIETT CURTIS and MESSRS. FRED STOTE and IRA H. WELLS. The ceremony was performed under an arch of hyacinths and smilex, Rev. Stote officiating.

The bride was beautifully dressed in white minyon and carried hyacinths, the groom was attired in the conventional black. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the dining room where a sumptuous wedding supper was served.

The bride and groom were the recipients of many beautiful and useful wedding presents. They left Monday morning for their new home in Des Moines. They have the best wishes of the entire community.
