well, we are related. There is a rather extensive genealogy posted for Jocob Jackley who had 8 children and I have this. Jocob had 8 children including my Jacob Jackley Jr.(my great grandfather) and Christian Jackley. At least five were born in Germany. Jocob died in Cheshire Mass. Your great grandfather died in Frankton Indiana which is where my father Francis Dano Jackley was born. His father was Francis Frank Jackley. My great grandfather was wounder in civil was, drew a disability pension and accompanied Lincoln's body from Washington after he was assinated. Matha Dano (Jacob's wife) was part French Canadian indian and her side may have been called denault at one time.
