Pierre Jacquet s/o Francoie-Louis Jacquet & Marie Louise Lesrel from La Manche area of France--not related to Jacquet Dit Deslaurier, he came to Magdaline Islands directly from Europe. Pierre married Genevieve Noel in Quebec june 7 1841, they were my maternal gggrandparents had daughter Marie married Hypolite Cormier they had 10 children & Christine Cormier was my grandmother. Have no other info on Jacquet family-would love to know more--thanks
