Brothers and Sisters, Aunts and uncles, friends and family. I recently returned from Scotland where I attempted to find the Jack Family Tartan and there isn't one. The Jack Family used the Aberdeen District Tartan or Grampian District Tartan because apperently it was very expensive to have one designed and regestered. I was told that it cost several hundred thousand pounds to have one created and registered by a tartan salesman. However, the research I have been doing says we can have one designed and registered as the Jack family tartan fairly cheaply, infact the cost is not so much the problem as everyone in the Jack family agreeing to the design. Is this something we want to persue. Do any of our Scotish relitives have any insight to this?
