Hi, I am just starting out research on my grandfather, Lloyd Samuel Witney Jack. There doesn't seem to be alot of information about him other than he came to Canada from the States in the earlier years of the 1900s. I am thinking he came from the central or eastern states as my Mom, Doreen, was born in Ontario in 1935 and I can't imagine that he would traverse across country that far, but you never know. He was married to Ida Eslinger and they migrated on to Alberta, Canada. Has anyone come across anything in their search about my grandpa? As his middle name is Samuel, I would assume that would be a family name as well as the other middle name of Witney (or Whitney). I would be grateful for any information that you may have. Thanks!
