Thankyou for marriages in the Ballymena area.
In Griffiths Valuation there were Andrew Martin snr & jnr at Martinstown, Parish Skerry.

Perhaps James Morton, son of Andrew, may have ben
James Martin ?

Perhaps the townland of Lisburn may have been Lisbreen ?

The map of the Ballymena District Council at :
http://
www.
ninis.nisra.gov.uk/mapxtreme/DetailedMaps/DC/95DD.jpg

shows Martinstown to be 12 kms north of Ballymena.

However, the PRONI lists the townland of Martinstown
as key #34 on their map which is very much south-east of their key #6 of the townland of Ballymena.

I am not sure if the townland of Martinstown would actually be #6 (not 34) on the PRONI map,
and the townland of Ballymena #25 (not 6).

These differences in the townland maps sure make it difficult for family research, especially if you want to go there for a visit.
