The Joseph Ibbotson i'm researching farmed Cow Close Farm near Hathersage in the early 1800's and married Milicent who was born at The Oaks, Bradfield in 1770. They had at least four children; Ruth (b.1800, Hathersage), Elizabeth, Milicent and Edward. Ruth married Bartholomew Ward at Wadsley Bridge.
