Hi Mary, I belive your Edward was the brother of my Ruth Ibbotson. Broke down a massive brickwall today, thanks to googlebooks which had the orbit of Millicent Ibbotson - Mother in law of B. Ward of Wadsley Bridge and wife of Joseph Ibbotson of Cows Close Farm near Hathersage. Ruth married Bartholomew Ward and lived in Wadsley. I noticed in 1841 Edward was living with his parents and wife Sarah but by 1861 he was in West Ham. Would love to hear from you. Sharon
