Does anyone have information on Thornton Ibbotson, Jack, Jill or Ted Ibbotson. Farmed at Cawkeld, Driffield. They used to live at Stray Farm, Market Weighton Road, Holme on Spalding Moor near York England. They also had a farm at North Cliffe and at Wholesea Grange. They emigrated to Canada roughly 1920's-1930's. Barbara Ibbotson married James Reader also Holme on Spalding Moor. Mother and father owned Readers butchers shop. The ibbotsons had a big family. Please get in contact as soon as possible. Barbara Reader is now 87 and she can remember them emigrating and would love to find out what happened to her dads brother and family.
