Thanks for your posting. I think we have the same GGGGG Grandparents Robert & Jane! Your George (Bap 17/6/1798 in Goldsborough) was brother to William (Bap 8/11/1795) - who is my GGGG Grandfather. Robert & Jane had 4 other children, Robert (Bap 25/5/1800) John (Bap 11/7/1804) Anthony (Bap 29/1/09) and Ann (Bap 21/9/1812).
This info has been passed to me by a relation and we are at present trying to research Robert and where he came from, so if you have any leads they would be greatly appreciated!
I notice that you have checked the 1841 census for some of your info, please could you advise me how you went about this, I'm new to all this and having problems cementing a couple of links.
