Yes, James Boyd Iams was born January, 1905. (the 18th? I think.) He died (May?) of 1970. I need to talk to my Aunt Francis to be sure, my mother is very ill and cannot answer alot of questions. But I did get a few answers from her. Grandma Iams maiden name was Opal Mae Andrews. Her date of birth was April 11, 1910. She died in September of 1990. Grandpa's Fathers name was Hugh Jasper Iams, not Will Iams like I had thought. I do not know his birth date or when he died, but maybe I can find out if I ask my Aunt or Uncles. And his wife's name was Hattie Porter. I think that what happened was the family must have just been passing through when he was kidnapped, and that is why he never found them when he came back. Also I would bet that they probably thought he had been killed or kidnapped by Indians, as that is who mostly lived in that area back then. Thank you for your interest. Angela Keenum-Lawson
