Don't have anything on your Gustav, although he sounds to have lived around the same time as my great-grandfather, Christian Haak. He and his wife, Martha, lived in or around Hamburg and had 6 children. At least one (possibly the last born) was born 1921.
Do you have any of these names? For all we know, Christian and Gustav could have been brothers or cousins.
