Believe him b. 26 Apr 1826 in Wurttemberg. Probably baptized Catholic. {Though Episcopalian after marriage.} Arrived New Orleans, LA Oct 1849. Married Julia A. Teschemacher in Mobile, AL, Feb 1850. Was a jeweler and musician. Four of their children buried in Vicksburg, MS. Four children lived to adulthood. Only son Frank Edward became my grandfather. Seeking any info re: FJW in Wurttemberg; e.g. location, baptism, parents, etc. Family story was he came without other family members.
