I don't see anything here about Jacob Earhart(son of Dorcas Gabriel & Samuel Earhart)b,1 Sept.1824,d.28 Mar 1864 Prosceuting Attorney of Meigs Co.Ohio. I have his obit & a copy of a diary he kept on a trip down the Ohio&Mississippi River to New Orleans & back 25 Nov 1850 to 17 May 1852. Last entry says he was married this date 13 Oct 1852 to Miss Eliza McQuality of Portsmouth, Ohio by Rev. M.H. Rowan. Eliza was a sister to my grandfather. Jacob & Eliza are in the 1860 census of Meigs Co.Ohio with 3 daughters. Catherine 1,Mary A. 3 & Elizabeth D. 7. Eliza and Catherine 10 are in the 1870 census Vinton Co.Ohio w/her father James McQuality. Can't find her or daughter in 1880 census. Found Eliza in Dayton Ohio city directory for 1888-89 and Cincinnati Ohio directory for 1890-91. Would like info on any of their daughters.
