Hi Stuart and Geniene, I have been researching again my Poynton line and now I have it down packed.
Firstly Maryanne Jacques and James Poynton were the parents of infant Henry.
Henry Poynton was christened on the 15th Dec 1845 Hartshorne,Derby.
James and Marianne's first son was christened Robert Jacques Poynton 21 Nov 1841 Hartshorne where Marianne was born to Robert Jacques,Also their 2nd son Dan Poynton born 1843 Church Greasley .
James 2nd wife Sarah Archer from Repton married 18th Sept 1848 Saint Werburgh,Derby
James Poynton is the son to John Poynton Church Gresley
Sarah Archer the daughter to Francis Archer.
James parents were John Poynton born Linton Church Greasley
Jane Featherstone Malebeck Nottinghamshire.
They are both interred in the StGeorge's StMary's Parish Church Church Greasley a kind person sent me the photo of their headstone. I also have Joseph Poynton and Jane Insley internment with their son George Henry Poynton whom died in 1917(WW1)from wounds he received in France he was 23yrs,was a LCpl with the 10th Battalion Sherwood Forresters, which became part of Kitcheners 2nd army 17th Division (Northern) attached to the 51st Brigade. This is a small fraction of the info I have so if you want any help with your lines
