Hello to everyone reading this message

In a few documents i receive from Spain, i notice the name of Francoise Chevallier born in the parish of St. Croix in Lisieux, Normandy. His father was , Jacob Chevallier and his mother Marie Carpantie(?) or Charpantier. This person had a brother called Sebastiene and cousins call Michel and Christof. I believe that 2 brothers Chevaliier married to sisters Carpantie (Charpentier. This had to be around 1.740 in or in the neigbourhood of Lisieux. In the period of 1.792 ( Francoise died in A Couña, Spain) he mentioned in his last will that there was a dispute between him, his brother and his cousins concerning the property of there fathers.

In the documents they mentioned that Francoise Chevallier have been borne in the parish of St. Croix in the Diocese the Lisieux i believe around 1.740. He married Maria Dominga Arrighi, a italian lady.

I would like to know if you can help me in my search for more information about this family. I would like to search for the act of baptisme of Mr Francoise Chevallier. I hope you can help me with any information about this family or places where i can request for information.

Regards,

José Campos
