William "Will" Ferguson, b. 1788 in Washington Co., PA, in 1827 m. Elizabeth "Betsy" Patton in Highland Co. OH, b. 1801, Bourbon Co, KY, and they resettled somewhere in Indiana around 1835 or later, with some of their 7 children born in OH, others in IN. I want to find their names and where they settled in Indiana, and establish their descendancy tree. One daughter believed to be Emeline. Sons likely named William, John, James.

Will's father was John Ferguson, Sr. (DAR Patriot, a Private in Capt Noah Abraham's Cumberland Co, PA unit) who died in Highland Co, OH in 1838, born Bovevagh, Derry, Ireland in 1757, arrived Phila. 1774. Will's mother was Janet "Jenny" Wier of Cumberland Co. Her father, William Wier (also DAR) was of Holland. Her mother Elizabeth.

John Sr's father was William Ferguson, b. 1737, Ire. Mother was Sarah C. Smith, Ire. Ferguson's to Bovevagh, Derry descended from four Ferguson brothers of Glen Shee Valley, Scot Highlands, arrived Bovevagh c. 1604.

Betsy Patton ancestry connects directly to both POTUS 41 and 43, George Bush, via William Patton, her grandfather.
