We are looking for descendents of Henry Harrison & Isabelle Fackler. Isabelle was the daughter of Gavin & Jean/Jane Thomson. Her parents immigrated from Scotland to Canada, and according to census reports she was born in Canada. We would like to share information we have as to when she immigrated to the US and share any family stories. We do know Henry & Isabelle left Iowa, lived briefly in Nebraska and ended up in Idaho. If you are related we would love to hear from you and to invite you to our Thomson Clan reunion:
Thomson Clan Reunion
All descendents of Gavin and Jean/Jane Thomson are invited to a first ever reunion.
Purpose: to get to know other family members we’ve never met, to renew family ties, and perhaps learn a little more of the family history.
Gavin & Jean were born, married, and started their family in Scotland. They then came to Canada and on down to Mills County Iowa where they are buried.
You may have their last name spelled Thomson or Thompson
Date of reunion: June 17, 2006
Location: East Liberty Church, Mills County, IA, across the road from the East Liberty Cemetery where they are buried.
Directions: Go north of Malvern and Hwy 34 on 315th St. then west on Hutchings Ave. (This is a country church in Silver Creek Township). You can also go to this web site, www.randmcnally.com then go to driving directions, enter FROM (home) address and TO (East Liberty) address which is 30718 Hutchings Avenue Malvern Iowa.
Time: 9:00am till ??
Cost: $15.00/person (children under 5 are free). Cost includes noon meal, rental of church, and miscellaneous costs.
Registration Deadline: June 1, 2006

Sharing of information
Introduction of those present
Lunch
More visiting and sharing of information
Visit the cemetery where several family members are buried including Gavin and Jane

Your laptop with your genealogy information
Family history Sheets
Copies of letters, birth/death certificates, family bibles, diaries, any genealogy information others might be interested in
Perhaps you have that missing piece of family history the others have been looking for
Yourself and your family
