Looking for info pertaining to the John William Fisher family. John William appears in The Alcorn 1923 edition yearbook, Roanoke High School, Spring 1923, VA.
In VA 1930 Soundex F260, he and his wife appear with his parents, head of household - Hubert C. Fisher, w, age 49, birthplace - MD. ED39 Sheet 225, Vol 101, along with Sarrah A. - relationship wife, age 46, John W. son age 25, Helen G. - daughter-in-law, age 25 and John W. Jr. grandson age 2.
I am working on my family tree and John W. Fisher was the 1st husband of HELEN GRACE MORRIS Morris, my Dad;'s (James) sister. I am trying to learn as much about the family as I can. I UNDERSTAND THERE WERE 2 boys - JOHN WILLIAM, JR. AND HUBERT FISHER. John William JR believed to have had two boys, PAUL AND CARL. Helen Grace Morris appears to have lived in Washington, DC@19438 and later during 2nd marriage to FRANK S. FABIAN, to have lived and died in Ohio, and is buried in Salem, VA (Sherwood Memorial). It is possible that one of Helen Grace's/John Fisher's children/grandchildren may have access to the Morris family Bible. Helen's parents were Gilbert Neal Morris and Mary Lillian Dunlap. My half-sister and I are looking for any leads that may connect us to other family members so as to add limbs/branches on our family trees. Thanks for any information furnished.
