My name is Brad Fabel. My grandfather was John Wyche Fabel and the son of Leopold. I have info on George Fabel, brother of Leopold on his involvement in the Civil War.George was captured at the battle of Nashville and spent the rest of the war in Louisville, KY in a union prisoner of war camp. I have his papers where he signed on at the age of sixteen. Also I have copy of his release and his pledge to never take up arme against the Union again and so forth.
